We are always looking for ways to undermine our opponent.

우리는 항상 우리의 상대를 약화시킬 방법을 모색하고 있다.

They take students' attention away from their lessons and undermine discipline. 

휴대전화는 학생들로 하여금 수업에 집중하지 못하게 하며 훈육을 약화시킨다. 

 

complicate  : (더) 복잡하게 하다, 뒤얽히게 만들다

Fortunately, Korea could avoid a worst-case scenario about power supply.

다행히 최악의 사태는 면했다.
